The Product Management team is looking for a Group Manager, Segment Product Strategy to lead the segment product strategies for our SaaS product, RelativityOne, across our target segments. 

RelativityOne is already the fastest growing product in the company’s history. Join the team that leads this growth, drives thought leadership inside and outside the company, and is responsible for the product strategies for each customer segment. Also, get hands-on in the development and implementation of the product strategy for the Corporate segment, serving as the Corporate segment product strategy lead.

This position reports to the Director, Product Management.

Your Role In Action

  • Manage and coach product strategy team members to help them perform at their best and advance their careers.
  • Lead the continuous improvement of segment product strategy processes and tools and be a core contributor to continuous improvement of Relativity’s strategic planning processes and tools.
  • Serves as the de-facto ‘co-GM’ of the cross-functional Corporate Segment Team who develop and execute the integrated segment strategy - commercial and product - to win in that segment.
  • Be the RelativityOne product thought leader for the Corporate segment, representing Relativity One at industry trade shows and events and also advancing Relativity’s product strategy and roadmap to win in that segment.
  • Utilize deep knowledge of the Corporate segment’s buyer personas, user personas, industry structure, market, competition, and technology to identify segment use cases and articulate a long-term segment product vision to serve those use cases.
  • Own Corporate segment product strategy, synthesizing and aligning multi-domain product roadmaps and goals with segment go-to-market roadmaps and goals.
  • Infuse segment product roadmaps with both qualitative and quantitative data evidence and communicate segment product strategy and roadmap to create common understanding and support from senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Prioritize and execute a backlog of product discovery projects to drive Corporate segment commercial growth, including market share, ARR, CAC, and churn.
  • Work collaboratively with UX research, domain product management, and product development to test direction and solution hypotheses during product discovery.
  • Lead research and proposals to drive multi-domain build/buy/partner product decisions.
  • Partners with Portfolio Marketing on commercial-driven and product-driven pricing and packaging decisions for RelativityOne.
  • Regularly evangelizes our Relativity product strategy and roadmap (across all products) with segment customers and prospects in terms of the segment’s wants/needs/use cases (often spanning product domains) and inspires the segment about the future of the product. 
  • Ability to travel up to 15% - 20% based upon business need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Design or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of related work experience in strategy, product marketing, or product management role
  • 1 year of recent experience at at e-discovery software, service provider or SaaS company
  • Understanding of SAAS growth drivers and strategies
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodology
  • Understanding of e-discovery use cases and workflows.
  • Skilled in analyzing, in partnership with engineers, and communicating the impacts of technology trends to the business model and user experience.
  • Skilled in financial and quantitative business modeling to address highly complex problems, systems, and interactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator and presenter with a high degree of comfort in public speaking. 
  • Thinks creatively to develop solutions customers haven’t even considered and builds consensus and influence others without authority.
  • Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for getting results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience driving growth strategies for an Enterprise SaaS product
  • 3 years of recent experience at an e-discovery software company, service provider, or SaaS company
  • Experience in the practical application of frameworks to explore, design, and test business & product strategy – e.g. Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition Canvas, Lean Startup, Customer Development, Design Thinking.
  • Experience working in Relativity software
