As a Senior Software Engineer at Relativity:
-You will help lead projects on a highly scalable and dynamic SaaS system built on many of the newest cloud-based technologies
-You will help lead projects on a highly scalable and dynamic SaaS system built on many of the newest cloud-based technologies
-You will build highly distributable systems composed of multiple databases, microservices, and modern front-end technologies
-You will design and produce high quality code and working in a collaborative, friendly, supportive and cooperative environment
 
This position reports to the Manager of Software Engineering.

Your Role In Action:

  • Architect and implement performant, scalable, and secure software while consistently applying best practices of software engineering
  •  Contribute and provide technical guidance to a software development team to ship high-quality, performant, secure software that operates on data at a massive scale
  •  Focus on quality through comprehensive unit and integration testing and static analysis and rigorous test strategy development
  •  Improve the software development process by recommending and instituting changes in policies and procedures
  •  Collaborate on design and implementation of components and interfaces across teams
  •  Promote new ideas and encourage innovative practices among peers
  •  Provide technical guidance to team members through education and coaching of best practice object-oriented principles

Your Skills:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience on commercial- grade systems and applications
  • 2+ years of experience in developing products in Cloud, such as Azure or AWS
  • Experience with .NET and C# and/or C++ programming
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle standards and best practices
  • Experience leading software projects and mentoring junior engineers
  • Skills for cross-group collaboration

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery workflows
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies
