Belonging in Action
A Letter from Relativity’s Chief Human Resources Officer
There was a moment last year that stayed with me. After one of our Community Resource Group events, a Relativian shared, “I didn’t realize how much I needed this space until I had it.”
That simple statement captured something essential. When people feel truly connected and supported, it changes everything about how they show up – for their work, for each other, and for the world beyond Relativity.
Belonging sits at the center of how we operate. Feeling seen helps our people lead with empathy, bring care into their teams, and pour that energy outward into their communities. In 2025, we focused on making belonging tangible. Not just as a value we name, but as something people actually experience every day.
There is always more work ahead. That's not a caveat – it's a commitment. I'm proud of the progress we've made this year, and deeply grateful to every Relativian who shows up each day intent on building something worth belonging to.
This report is a reflection of that work. I hope it moves you the way it moves me.

Our Pro Bono Commitment, Five Years Strong
2025 marked the five-year anniversary of Justice for Change, and there's no better place to begin.
Justice for Change
Adequate legal representation for low-income and marginalized communities is a cornerstone of a functioning justice system, and the attorneys and legal services organizations who take on this work deserve the same tools as anyone else. Justice for Change gives them exactly that – free access to Relativity's most powerful technology for those advancing access to justice. What started as a focused commitment has evolved into a scalable, globally engaged pro bono program. This year, we expanded the offering to include Relativity aiR and Translate, and launched the Access to Justice category at the Relativity Innovation Awards, honoring leaders like Arnold & Porter's Melissa Weberman for advancing pro bono work through legal technology.

“Large organizations can staff a hundred people to review data. Public‑facing and pro bono organizations can’t – and even if they could, they’d spread those resources to cover more issues. Technology is what levels that playing field.”
2025 Recognition & Awards
Halo Award: Best Technology for Good Initiative, Silver
Wiley A. Branton - 2025 Corporate Citizen Leadership Award
Anthem Award – Bronze Winner for Best Use of AI in Human & Civil Rights
Our People-Driven Community
Belonging is practiced in gatherings, conversations, and the willingness to learn from one another. In 2025, our Community Resource Groups (CRGs) put that idea into action – creating spaces to share culture and unwind with one another.

The CRG BBQ Bash
For the first time, every CRG showed up in the same place, for the same moment. More than 300 Relativians gathered for a summer BBQ where each group hosted a game, making it easy for employees and leaders to connect.

Community & Culture Day
On the five-year anniversary of Justice for Change, we paused to celebrate the cultures woven into Relativity. RelAsians members led the way, teaching colleagues a Diwali dance.

Sip & Stich
Relativity Pride hosted monthly sewing circles that turned shared time into something lasting. Stitch by stitch, participants created two quilts – each square shaped by their unique stories.
RelWow Leadership Series
Through 11 candid interviews, Relativity Women of the Workplace spotlighted women leaders across the company – sharing lessons, career paths, and practical guidance for the next generation.

RelVets - Mission-Ready Talent
RelVets brought together allies for a conversation on how military experience drives meaningful corporate impact and supports veteran hiring and career transitions.

Hispanic Heritage Month
Relativity Latinos in Tech (REL-L.I.T.) brought Día de los Muertos to life with a celebration that honored tradition, remembrance, and community.

Black History Month
Black@Relativity (BRel) hosted a month of programming centered on Black history, culture, and creativity – from trivia to interactive cooking classes.

Disability Pride Month
In July, AccessAbility explored ADA history, amplified underrepresented voices, and made inclusion visible through custom Zoom backgrounds.
Amplifying Belonging with Quarterly Culture Collectives
Led by CRG volunteers, our company-wide Culture Collectives invited Relativians to pause, listen, and practice belonging together. Each session explored a different theme, from global communication and caregiving to practical ways to build belonging into everyday work. Together, these sessions strengthened shared language, leadership capability, and accountability – turning belonging into a practiced skill rather than an abstract value.
Powered by Relativians: Inclusion & Impact Committees
Across the US, EMEA, and Poland, Inclusion & Impact Committees served as a catalyst for growing people through action – empowering employees to develop leadership skills while transforming personal cultural energy into shared belonging. These locally driven, energy-fueled initiatives aligned with our global impact strategy and resonated across cultures. These initiatives included:
Wheels for Walkies where our EMEA team built custom wheelchairs for disabled dogs

Support for Foundation Fundacja Rezultaty to assemble 50 care packages to seniors around Kraków

Global Act of Kindness Campaign to inspire positivity at work and in our communities

Sponsorship of the National Access to Justice and Pro Bono Conference in the APAC region and participation in the London Legal Walk
Our Remote Circles
Our Remote Connections initiative brings remote Relativians together for in-person get-togethers. It’s one small reminder that no matter where you live and work, you belong. In 2025, we saw record-breaking numbers:

Our Next Generation of Leaders, Growing Together
In 2025, we invested in growing people at every stage of their journey. Through academies, mentoring programs, internships, and community partnerships, we built pathways that develop emerging talent, strengthen leadership capability, and extend opportunity beyond Relativity's walls.

Academies
Relevate and nerds.family launched the Ascent Academies in engineering and product management. These globally accessible learning paths attracted 50+ applicants from around the world, reflecting our commitment to the long game of building careers that last.

“We are all students – mentors, volunteers, and learners alike. Lifelong learning isn’t optional anymore, and programs like this work because everyone involved is growing together.”

RelFest guests packed 1,000 kits for World Mental Health Day and Hispanic Heritage Month to be delivered to Chicago Public School students, turning conference energy into direct community care.
Student Engagement
From Chicago's Corliss High School to classrooms around the world, we extended scholarships to bring the next generation straight to RelFest.

Where We Go from Here
At Relativity, belonging isn't something we arrive at. It's the force behind every decision we make, every system we build, and every person we invest in. We’re grateful to the employees, partners, and communities who carry this work forward. As we look ahead, our responsibility remains clear:
- Keep building systems that are fair
- Keep creating spaces where differences are welcomed
- Keep investing in communities beyond our walls
- Keep building a future that's sustainable for all
This is belonging in action. We build on it, year after year.
