January 29, 2024
Relativity is proud to announce it has won two awards in the 2024 Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards from ALM, recognizing the company’s social impact programming and innovation in product offerings.
Relativity Short Message Format (RSMF) won the Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Award in the Provider, e-Discovery category. In addressing the evolving communications landscape, Relativity took a two-pronged approach by creating a completely new file format, Relativity Short Message Format (RSMF), and an industry-leading short message solution to help legal teams tackle their chat data challenges. The invention of RSMF reimagined the review experience for short message data and served as a way for legal teams to address the growing data challenges that come with evolving communication platforms and styles.
Relativity’s Justice for Change program won the Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Award in the Enabling Access to Justice category, recognized for its success in helping to level the playing field in the justice system. Justice for Change, launched in 2020, gives organizations doing legal work on behalf of advancing justice free use of our cloud-based e-discovery solution, RelativityOne, and generative AI technologies. The goal of this program is to eliminate barriers to achieving justice by providing access to the technology and resources that are often too costly for nonprofit organizations and pro bono budgets. Over the past year, the Justice for Change program has made great achievements in expanding its impact, number of projects and global reach.
